Nothing Missing Leadership:
accessing wisdom and power through forest practice
at Windhorse Farm with Jim Drescher, LaMeia Reddick, and Nick Matheson
In this 3-day, 2-night weekend retreat we will explore leadership as a path of healing. The view of Nothing Missing Leadership is that everyone is fundamental healthy, whole, and worthy, that everyone has the capacity to thrive, and that everyone deserves to thrive. Through reflection and embodiment practices, we will explore the four-step cycle of caring and the four engagements in order to increase our power to benefit others. Wisdom is what we know before we think about it. Power is our inherent capacity to engage skillfully in the world. Leadership is realizing the fruits of wisdom and power to heal wounds: our own, others', society's and those of the whole environment. Natural systems, in this case ancient forests, are clear mirrors in which we can see our own natural wisdom and power reflected.
Although we will sleep in Juniper Lodge, we will be out on the land most of the time. Conceptual teaching will be interwoven with experiential practice and peer mentoring so that we come away with an embodied sense of the wisdom and power of our own unique leadership. This will be a "nature-immersion" retreat; twelve non-human teachers of the forest will awaken our intrinsic qualities, and we will explore how to implement these in our lives and our work.

There will be opportunities to work with particular challenges (obstacles and/or opportunities) you are encountering in your personal or organizational leadership. Please let us know if you are experiencing a challenge you want help with during this retreat.
