A WOMEN-ONLY WEEKEND TO WELCOME A NEW DECADE
JANUARY 17-19, 2020
YOUR INVITATION• Do you want to kick-off 2020 by enjoying quality time with kindred spirits, recharging and nourishing yourself, and taking walks in the fresh, crisp air?
• Are you looking for a way to shake off whatever you’ve accumulated or outgrown from the last decade - mistakes, beliefs or limitations - so you can enter 2020 feeling a little lighter? • When you think about what you really want out of the year ahead, does it include laughter, connection, love, play, ease, trust, vitality, or power? Does it involve doing life in ways that feel good? Do you find yourself wanting to head in this direction, but not knowing where to start? • Would you benefit from feeling a little more relaxed, being a little more supported, or receiving a little more encouragement to ask for what you want? If you answered YES to any of these questions, |
Laura Whitman & Colette O’Hara will be your co-hosts and retreat facilitators.
We are best friends, former business partners and frequent creative collaborators. The two of us have spent the last 10 years designing experiences we want to have, whether that’s brunch dates, winter solstice rituals, project launches or journalling challenges. Creating the conditions for communion, well-being and delight is our speciality; it’s the way we lead, the way we do best friendship; the way we do self care, and the way we get intentional about our life. Margaret Drescher & Windhorse Farm will contribute teachings, guidance & wisdom Windhorse Farm is magical place on the LaHave River at Wentzell Lake. It has been home to many humans and non-humans for more than ten thousand years. The Mi'kMaq and their ancestors cared for the forest here, and were cared for by the forest, for 400 generations. Margaret Drescher has been a co-owner of Windhorse since 1990, when her family took on the stewardship of the forest and gardens, growing with their children here and opening their doors to hundreds of other young people who wanted to learn about caring for the land. She has decades of facilitation, teaching and meditation experience. |
