Moonlit Snowshoe

SATURDAY, January 7th, February 4th, and March 3rd

Come to Windhorse Farm to enjoy a guided snowshoe through our enchanting old growth Acadian Forest.  After our walk, we will all enjoy a mug of hot apple cider harvested from our very own heritage apple trees! Walks will continue on foot in the absence of snow. These outdoor events are part of Hike Nova's Scotia's Take the Roof Off Winter campaign to encourage active living during the winter. Please bring your own snowshoes or find a rental location near you. In Halifax snowshoes can be rented at the Trail Shop -->

On February 4th, there will be another guided moonlight snowshoe excurision with additional offerings  including a pancake supper and yoga class. Click here for the Feb. 4 schedule

If you cannot make it for this guided event, we invite you to bring your friends or family to Windhorse Farm to enjoy an active weekend of cross country skiing or snowshoeing anytime this season.
