Part-time hosts:
Are you a friendly, enthusiastic person who enjoys meeting people, supporting their experiences and creating a welcoming atmosphere? Do have basic computer skills and thrive working independently in an office environment? Do you enjoy working on weekends and evenings and being engaged in a variety of tasks?
We are looking for occasional part-time help, relating to office and hosting duties, to support the venues aspect of Windhorse Farm.
Responsibilities include:
· Greeting guests, orienting them to Windhorse Farm and showing them to their accommodations
· Giving welcome talk to groups
· Providing logistical support to group programs
· Answering email and phone calls
· Taking bookings and referring group inquiries to the Venue Coordinator as necessary
· Processing deposits and payments for rentals and our store items
· Keeping the office clean and neat
· Some data entry
· Checking accommodations before arrivals, ensuring they meet our standards
· Stocking accommodations with supplies when necessary (kindling, water, etc.)
· Occasional light housekeeping when necessary

Housekeeper (part-time):
Do you have previous housekeeping experience, an attention to detail and a passion for keeping things clean and tidy? Are you an enthusiastic person who enjoys working independently? Do you believe in the importance of environmentally-friendly practices? Do you notice when things are out of place and take the initiative to fix them?
Responsibilities include:
· Cleaning a wide variety of accommodations, from our spacious and elegant Juniper Lodge to our tiny and rustic, off-grid forest cabins and wood-fired sauna.
· Tasks such as laundry, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning washrooms and outhouses.
· Occasional stocking of cabins with supplies (water, kindling, etc.)
· Checking-in with the venue coordinator.
We use all biodegradable cleaning supplies, keep waste to a minimum, recycle, and feed the compost to the chickens. We are located in a farm/forest setting, and some of our accommodations are only accessible by foot via forest trails.
