Whether your getaway is a reward or a working session devoted to relationship-building, learning, planning or brainstorming, the setting at Windhorse Farm provides an escape from the bustle of daily life and an atmosphere of inspiration and tranquility.

Consider renting all or some of Windhorse Farm's group facilities for your next off-site meeting, retreat or  get-together. Windhorse Farm has four group venues, including Juniper Lodge, Sunshine House, the Power House and Tamarack Forest Cabin. All of our facilties enjoy abundant natural daylight, have flexible room layouts and are supported by excellent audiovisual and communcations equipment.

Juniper Lodge
A grand entrance to the heart of the building, the Great Hall, warmly welcomes guest to this unusually impressive building. Our largest sustainably-designed facility, Juniper Lodge, can accommodate up to 40 guests in a circle or theatre style in the Great Room. The Great Room can be used as a meditation or activity hall, or converted into an executive boardroom or large meeting room. Additional meeting spaces include Juniper Lodge's central Great Hall (excellent for break out groups, casual meals, or intimiate fireside chats), the Northwest Room (with seating around two large tables for up to 15 people) and the Pavilion (a beautiful separate building reached by traversing a short boardwalk). The Pavilion can seat 30 guests for meals (additional seating outside on the deck or in the Northwest Room), or it can serve as a separate meeting room. It has wrap-around decks and views over the peaceful Japanese Garden.

Sunshine House & the Carriage House
Sunshine House is a large, fully renovated Century Farm house overlooking Wentzell Lake with its own small garden and spacious grounds. In addition to the large living room, the newly rennovated, wood-finished Carriage House that adjoins Sunshine House offers groups two more beautiful and intimite meeting or activity rooms. Combined with Juniper Lodge, this expands our day-hosting capacity to as many as 60 guests!
 

Power House
The Power House is right on the lake with incredible views of sky and water. This is the perfect spot for a small gathering or meeting, where you can provide your own meals using the fully equipped and powered kitchen. The living room has vaulted ceilings and can accommodate between 8-10 people for meetings and sleeping.


Tamarack Forest Cabin
Get a feeling for the forest while enjoying being tucked away in a cozy, rustic cabin. Tamarack Forest Cabin in the heart of the forest not far from Juniper Lodge. This would be a great facility for a group of young people who want to retreat to the forest for a meeting or get-together, and is frequently used by our forest interns.


Communications equipment: All of our facilities are supported by excellent audiovisual and communications equipment, including a slide and/or multimedia projector, flip charts, projector and large white walls for maximum projection size and impact. All building have access to high-speed wifi service.
