Nothing Missing Leadership
Retreat TWO, April 27-30, 2018
Each leader gains new insights that enhance their ability to articulate their personal and professional intentions, goals and objectives.
Each leader has a clearly defined future for their organization or project, based on a whole-systems approach.
Each leader sees a clear path forward to establishing an effective approach to building a powerful leadership team, a winning strategy and effective action plan.
Although we will sleep in Juniper Lodge, we will be out on the land much of the time. As in the first retreat, conceptual teaching will be interwoven with experiential practice and peer mentoring.
Arrival time 5:00 PM Thursday
On Sunday afternoon we will end at 3:00 sharp.
Everything in between will be rich and spacious, hosted in and by the forest itself, with Robert Orr and Jim Drescher as guides and translators.
Robert Orr's leadership career spans over 35 years at the senior management level in the private equity investment business, marine biotechnology, nutritional ingredient, food retailing and food wholesaling industries. Currently, Robert operates a specialized consulting company, but his breadth of experience ranges from creation and management of several start-up companies to responsibility for large multinational corporate division operations with annual revenues in excess of $1 billion. Robert also serves on the Advisory Board of Dalhousie University School of Management and on the Advisory Board, Cape Breton University, and Verschuren Centre for Sustainability in Energy and the Environment. He is Chair of Community Foundation of Nova Scotia, and Chair of Natural Products Canada Centre of Excellence. He is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC).
Trained as a forest ecologist, Jim Drescher, co-director of Windhorse Farm (windhorsefarm.org) and founder of Nothing Missing Leadership (nothingmissing.ca), has been a serial entrepreneur for over 50 years. His teaching and coaching work plays at the confluence of the ancient Shambhala leadership teachings and his family lineage of nature practice. For the past 28 years his practice ground has been in the forests, gardens and wetlands of Windhorse Farm in Nova Scotia.
If you are applying to attend this second retreat, you already have worked with Jim in the first retreat.
